As vintage enthusiasts, we are sure to help you plan a more sustainable wedding. Read along. TIP ONE Vintage is more then a trend. Using vintage items such as furniture and decor for your wedding, you are substantially increasing the sustainability of your event. TIP TWO Renting vintage items is your best friend! Renting items rather than buying new makes so much sense when it comes to creating a sustainable event. TIP THREE Reuse your decor throughout the entire day of your wedding. You could reuse your head table seating as portrait seating; a bar cart for your cake display can be a custom bar service at reception; and many other fun ways of reusing your decor. TIP FOUR Planning ahead can be key in sustainability. Booking your rentals far enough in advance allows you to have the decor you want without having to last minute purchase something to make your design happen. TIP FIVE We have a lot of vintage rentals to help you, but we also encourage couples to use those special pieces that are meaningful to you both. Maybe it's a grandparent's china for your sweetheart table place settings, or a customized family heirloom that helps to tell your story. You can pin any of these images below to your Pinterest boards for future reference. We believe that planning your wedding as a sustainable event doesn't have to be hard. Creating a day that you both look back on and remember the love of family and friends is most important. Doing it as sustainable as possible is all gravy. Watch for our next blog about renting the right pieces for your wedding style. Thank you ~Heather |
