I had an idea for a summery, bright wedding design. A colour combo I wanted to see more of. So I designed it! Check it out, and let me know what you think! Bringing this design to life would not have been possible without the major support and help of the incredible vendors you will see in this shoot. We work together, collaboratively to bring ideas and trends to life to show what we can do as a team. What we can create and make happen for your dream day. This summery, orange blossom design is one of my favourites so far. From the colour choices, to the design details, and how fun this real couple is. A highlight for this design is the gown + white tuxedo from the same shop! TREND: This has to be one of my most favourite trends right now. The pocket floral!!! Not a pocket square, and not a boutonniere, but a combo of both! A little extra on trend item, is the full lapel florals for jackets. So pretty! Portraits. An important part of your wedding day photography. A moment in time of you and your partner on your wedding day. Your gown and or suit, the shoes, the jewelry, even the hairstyles. All important moments to cherish. Ceremony: An intimate look at a modernized ceremony. Using the venue's main wall, with decorative sliding doors, we added oversized floral pieces to mimic a ceremonial arch, and defined the space with a vintage rug. Using a vintage chair, we accentuated the design colours with a pop of blue. The orange blooms really stand out in this beautiful bouquet. When designing the table, we decided to layer the plates and the glasswares. Using colours from the design inspiration in the glasses, florals + napkins. A fun idea with the menu is to use it as a name/place card too. The bar cart, or cake cart, is one of our favourite wedding ideas. With a smaller, or more intimate wedding, you are able to use more intentional decor pieces, like a bar cart for your cake, and maybe some fun custom cocktails too. Adding vintage coloured glasses on your bar cart is a fun way to add that design colour in too. We had a surprise guest for this shoot design. When we saw our friend Michelle's 'new to her' baby blue VW bug, we had to have it for this day. What a lovely surprise to our couple. The florals were such a perfect addition.
