What is it about some colours that blush a vintage style? I think it is the coral pink and minty green that inspire a vintage style for me. Building from this colour story, infusing our vintage furniture pieces, and the florals make it explode with vintage vibes. The vintage mint green velvet love seat surrounded by vintage brass shelf and stunning florals creates a beautiful lounge for our lovely bridal model, Medkisa. When building an inspiration from a colour concept, we start with a main vintage furniture piece, and tell the colour story through the decor. Adding brass in as our metal accent; corals in through the florals; and mint via the furniture, we were able to create a beautifully vintage lounge that would seamlessly fit into any wedding design today. Mini vintage apothecary glass bottles served as bud vases on the guest tables. The pops of colour were perfect against a white linen. More vintage touches with the raspberry rimmed vintage goblets at each of our guest place settings. The soft mint green napkins were tied with a hand dyed coral pink silk ribbon and placed across a clear plate as place holder. A tall vintage brass and glass shelf serves as the perfect cocktail service. Using clear vintage champagne coupes in varying shapes, with custom cocktails in colours matching our inspiration palette, the colours continue to pop in the lounge area. Curating pieces for a flat lay to showcase our stationery, jewelry and florals, we brought in vintage brassy gold frames, mini apothecary bottles and vintage stamps. You can use these images to pin on your wedding Pinterest boards for future reference. Designing an event with a vintage colour story is so fun with all the options of vintage furniture pieces. We love having clients come to the studio and see all the pieces they can design with. You can book a viewing at the link below! We can't wait to meet with you. ~H |
